Business Chatbots in Uzbekistan: An Honest Comparison of Your Options

Three paths — each with its own price

A business that decides to automate customer messaging has three paths: global platforms like Tidio, Intercom, or ManyChat; a custom bot built by a local agency; or a local platform built for the Uzbekistan market. Each path has honest advantages — and pitfalls that only show up after you've paid.

What matters specifically in Uzbekistan

The selection criteria here differ from the "global" checklist. Customers write in Uzbek and Russian — often within one conversation. The main sales channel is Telegram, not email and not a website widget. Budgets are counted in UZS, not dollars. And leads need to land in the CRMs actually used here — Bitrix24 and amoCRM.

Global platforms: powerful, but aimed at a different market

Intercom, Tidio, and ManyChat are mature products with enormous feature sets. But they were built for markets where the main channel is email and a website widget, not Telegram. Uzbek is at best "supported" by a general AI model with no quality guarantees, and the interface and support are in English. The dollar price grows with every operator and subscriber: $50 a month becomes $150 faster than you expect. For an export-focused company they're a reasonable choice; for retail in Tashkent, it's a cannon aimed at a sparrow.

A custom bot: control you pay for twice

Custom development gives you full control: the bot does exactly what you asked. The flip side is familiar to everyone who has walked this path: from 3 million UZS for a simple script and tens of millions for an AI bot, weeks of development, and then dependency on the contractor. Every price-list change and every Telegram API update is a new task and a new invoice. We did the detailed math in our "How much does a chatbot cost" article — custom wins only when you need a truly unique process.

Replyra: built for this market

Replyra does less than Intercom — and exactly what a business in Uzbekistan needs. The agent answers in Uzbek, Russian, and English from your knowledge base, lives in Telegram and in your website chat, hands complex conversations to an operator, and files leads into a CRM. Plans are priced in UZS, from free to enterprise, and setup requires no developer.

How to test any option in one minute

The test is the same for everyone: write the bot a question in Uzbek — not from a menu, but in your own words, the way your customers write. See whether the answer addresses the question, in the same language. Then ask the price of a product that doesn't exist and watch whether the bot honestly admits it doesn't know. Our agent passes this test right in the demo chat on our homepage — start your comparison there.
